Our Club is powered by volunteers. Without the generous support of parents, members, and community helpers each season, we simply couldn’t operate. There are many ways to get involved, and we’d love to have you on board.
There are roles and rosters available across a range of areas, including:
- Game Day Canteen
- BBQ Roster
- Bar Assistance (RSA preferred but not essential)
- Junior Program Support
- Club Events & Fundraisers
- Match Day Operations
- General Administration Support
If you’d like to help out, simply fill out the form for the relevant area you wish to help out on or contact the club via email to connect with a committee member at any time.
Volunteering isn’t just vital to the running of community sport – it’s also incredibly rewarding. Research shows:
- Volunteers are happier, healthier, and sleep better than those who don’t volunteer.
- 96% of volunteers say helping others “makes people happier”.
- 95% report improved wellbeing.
- Helping others creates a “helper’s high”, a powerful physical and emotional boost.
- Even a small amount of volunteering can improve mood and happiness.
- Ongoing volunteering is linked to better mental health.
- Acts of kindness and compassion are strongly connected to wellbeing and longevity.
- Helping others provides purpose, confidence, social connection, and a sense of belonging.
- Volunteers contribute around $200 billion to the Australian economy every year.
- The number of volunteers in Australia has doubled since the mid-1990s.
- Young people volunteering has grown significantly over the same period.
- Out of 600,000 not-for-profit organisations in Australia, only 60,000 have paid staff, volunteers truly keep community sport alive.
